Why Youβll Love This Recipe!
- Quick Preparation: Ready in about 30 minutes!
- Minimal Ingredients: Only requires 4 easy-to-find items.
- Versatile: Easily customizable to suit any palate or dietary preference
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- A Stand-Mixer or your hands will work too! My go-to stand-mixer is the KITCHEN AID STAND MIXER it has several attachments including a kneading attachment that is so useful in situations like this when you just don’t want to cook or complicate your life. HA!

- Pizza Stone. I didn’t know I needed one until I got one as a gift and now I will not make pizza at home with it! Here is the exact one I purchase on Amazon. So far I love it!

- Pizza Sauce: Choose your favorite brand or make a simple sauce with crushed tomatoes seasoned with salt, pepper, and a dash of olive oil.
- Mozzarella Cheese: Fresh mozzarella is the best choice for that perfect melt and rich flavor.
- Fresh Basil and/or Pesto: A few leaves of fresh basil not only add a burst of flavor but also a vibrant splash of color.
- Italian Sausage: (optional) I have been obsessed with the fact that Costco now carries it in bulk so I can freeze and use whenever I need it. So convenient!
We recently completely a portion of our backyard project (still so much to do and I will post photos soon) but all I’ve wanted to do lately since the weather has cooled down a lot, is be outside! Even while writing this post, I am outside. π

I hope you enjoy this simple yet delicious recipe because time with loved ones is more important than time spent figuring out what’s for dinner. Cook what you have and have fun!

- 3 tbsp pesto (optional)
- 1 c cooked italian sausage (optional)
- 1 c pizza sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil to brush onto the crust
Instructions
- Attach the kneading attachment onto your stand mixer. You can also knead my hand which works just as well.
- Place the flour, yeast, salt, sugar in mixer.
- Slowly add the luke warm water to the mixer while turning the mixer on medium speed.
- Turn your oven to the lowest temperature setting for 10 mins and turn off.
- Place your pizza dough on the lowest rack, covered with a tea cloth or seran wrap
- Prepare your toppings
- After 15 mins. or so, remove the pizza sough and cut up into 2 large pizza or 4 smaller pizzas
- Use your hands to spread the dough out.
- Brush pizza edge with olive oil
- Add your toppings
Cooking:
- Grill or bake. If grilling, use a pizza stone at 350 degrees. (Every grill is a little different but you want to keep an eye on it other wise the bottom of the pizza will burn before the rest of the pizza is finished cooking.)
- If baking, place pizza stone on lowest level, and bake at 450 degrees. Keep and eye on it!
